I treat my clients and authors as art directors, ensuring that their vision comes to life through a structured process.
Understanding the Vision & Purpose
We start with a discussion about the background or story behind the commission. I gather details such as the story synopsis, character descriptions (both physical and personality traits), and the desired mood (e.g., gothic, bright, whimsical). I also clarify how the artwork will be used—whether for a book cover, a scene within a book, or social media promotions. If it’s a book cover, I require the exact dimensions for both eBook and physical versions. Reference images or moodboards (such as Pinterest collections) are highly encouraged, as they help capture the client’s vision effectively.

Initial Sketch & Approval
I begin with a rough line sketch to establish the pose and composition. This sketch is shared with the client/author for approval, and revisions are freely allowed at this stage.

Clean Line Art & First Payment
Once the rough sketch is approved, I proceed with clean line art. This is shared for final approval before moving to the coloring stage. At this point, I request the first half of the payment via PayPal.

Colouring & Refinement
After receiving the initial payment, I proceed with coloring. Only minor adjustments (such as color tweaks or small detail additions) can be made at this stage.

Final Payment & Delivery
Once the artwork is completed, the remaining payment is transferred. Upon receipt, I deliver the high-resolution file via email.
